Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28, 1967 on the 28th of October, 1967 in Atlanta to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. She comes from the fourth Roberts family to have been a resident of Atlanta. This began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. The Robertses' father was interested in theatre from an early age. While a student of Emory University in 1952 he performed in shows on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. In 1953, he joined the Air Force and while stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a play that he performed in with Betty Lou Bredemus. The two married in 1955 and their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. In 1957, the couple quit the air force and Walter was enrolled in Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter joined Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio when they moved their family from Atlanta to Georgia's Decatur in the year 1960. Walter and Betty Lou began producing a children's TV show in Decatur, Georgia called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They financed the production by themselves. They also established a six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later that same year. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) and Julia (also called Julie) at the time.
